The purposes for which the Society is organized are:
*to create an awareness of orchid culture
*to foster the preservation of native species of orchids
*to support research and development of orchid culture; and
*to hold meetings, lectures, and exhibitions.
The Society meets most months either via Zoom, in person at the 2/42 Community Center in Okemos, or a combination of both.

We meet at 7:00 pm during the months that are warmer and lighter in the evening, and at 2:00 during the colder, darker months. Please check the most current Newsletter for specifics.

Our in-person meetings are at the 2-42 Community Center in Okemos. For a map to the community center and other information, please see our current newsletter, the Calypso, in the Newsletter section.
